The Company was established in 1972 and operated under the name of PT Petrosea International Indonesia. In 1990, the Company’s name changed into current name and also listed on Jakarta and Surabaya Stock Exchange. Since 2009, PT Indika Enegry Tbk become the controlling shareholders of PT Petrosea Tbk with 98.55% total shares owned. Petrosea’s headquarters are located in Jakarta and operated with its representative offices in Balikpapan and Tanjung Batu in East Kalimantan and Timika in Papua. The Company awarded the Certificates for Health and Safety Management System Standard and valid from 25 January 2010 – 25 January 2013. The Company also obtained an award from PT SGS Indonesia for successfully maintaining ISO 9001 certification for 10 consecutive years.
